Measuring very small strains in rigid structures

Surface strain sensor X-103 monitors strain between two mounting screws and mechanically amplifies it. In this way, the strain is concentrated in the measurement area, so that it can be measured using a resistance strain gauge bridge.

If strain gauges are used to measure the mV / V signal of the bridge or multiple strain sensors should be connected, these strain sensors should be used. This is the case for weight measurement and force measurement on several tension rods of the press. The strain sensor will generate a proportional strain bridge signal (mV / V) based on the stress of the structure.
